Shree
Prabhas is a unique Hari-Har Teerthdham. Bhagwan Shreekrishna
blessed us with his Divine Golok Prasthan Leela From
the holy soil of Prabhas Tirth. The latest research
conducted by Rev. Shri Gjnananand Saraswatiji Maharaj
at the auspices of Somnath found that Bhagvan Shreekrishna
took his heavenly abode in the year 3102 B.C. on the
auspicious day of the Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, which
coincided this year with 9th April 2005.
The first Golokdham Mahotsav celebrated at Somnath
in holy presence of Gjnananand Saraswatiji and Chairman
Shri keshubhai Patel. A grand Shobhayatra from Bhalka
Teerth to Dehotsarga Teerth was organized where people
in large nubers across all the sections of socity
including Muslims and Christian brothers attended
the Shobhayatra. Several floats highlighting the life
and massage of Bhagwan Shreekrishna were exhibited
at the Shobhayatra. The Shobhayatra culminated at
the Dehotsarga in to a large Dharmasabha. The saints
and dignitaries addressed it. The three newly renovated
guesthouses were also dedicated to the service of
pilgrims of Somnath. The new website of Somnath was
inaugurated on the occasion. The Mahotsav was concluded
with a Shiv Nrityanjali by Shri Nrityabharti Amdavad
at the holy feet of the Natraj Somnath.
Hon’ble Ministers Shri Ashokbhai Bhatt, Shri
Kaushikbhai Patel, Trustees Shri Vinodbhai Neotia,
Shri J.D.Parmar, Secretary Shri Ashokbhai Sharma and
several other dignitaries participated in the Golokdham
Mahotsav.
